Contextual Design Challenges

FjordFlora engineers work under severe sunlight in translucent dome structures. Standard visual dashboards washed out entirely. Our role was designing a high-contrast, high-readability HUD. We implemented massive, tracking-tight typographic telemetry metrics with responsive grids that scale to fit any viewport.

Accessibility Implementations

Applying WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA rules, we verified every telemetry card using strict text scales. Because users operate with mud-covered fingers or gloves, we engineered tactile click zones and customized tactile delay responses. Users on touch devices receive a 350ms watercolor-like visual ripple feedback indicating registration, preventing double taps and accidental sub-menus.
